Antalya, Istanbul and the capital city of Ankara . . . three days, three great shows, and three venues all named the Jolly Joker.
Having done two great sell out shows in Belfast and Dublin, and a stop off gig in the Czech Republic, we were all feeling a little jaded by the time we arrived in Antalya.
Luckily we had most of the day off and some nice weather would allow the usual suspects in the band some time sunbathing at the hotel pool, fully recouped we were ready for a whistle stop tour of Turkey.

There is no doubt that there is a buzz about Smokie in Turkey, with crowds growing on each occasion we go there. It's also nice to see many young folks attending our shows.
The gig in Istanbul is slowly becoming one of my favourite gigs, it's a small stage and the venue in comparison to what we would normally play is small . . . but the atmosphere is really incredible. I also love the buzz around Istanbul.
