I know it's been a while since I last did a post here, but needless to say, I've been busy working with Smokie and I moved to Spain to live.
I hope that's a good enough excuse?
The last few months with Smokie was pretty busy and as usual we did a load of indoor shows and a few outside festivals as well. We had a couple of memorable shows in Austria, headlining festivals that were really well attended, the last gig of the summer was in Furstenfeld and one of my favourite shows of the year.
In the last couple of days, I've had my acoustic guitar out of it's case and I wrote a great chorus for what I hope will be a great song when completed . . . . Hopefully?
The next part of the year is gonna be really busy, we have a tour of South Africa, a ten day tour of Germany and a full tour of Australia, that will take us into December, lots of travel and lots of fun hopefully . . . . A lot to look forward to !!!
In the meantime, I need to get writing some songs, Smokie have a new album to finish, I'm guessing that we'll have a release in the spring of 2014, so we all need to get our writing heads on !!!!
